What is Gap Sensing?: A gap is the non-label area between each SuperBadge that a printer uses to optically sense the space. This gap allows the printer to determine the start and stop of each SuperBadge. The sensor on the printer must be aligned to "see" this gap area. Some printers have center gap readers only, but most mid-range and industrial printers have an adjustable gap sensor. To assemble SuperBadge, simply peel away the backing and fold the badge like you're closing a book. It's fast and easy!
Durability: SuperBadge is our second most durable badge option for your event. It is only slightly less durable than the DuroBadge: Custom, but still a highly durable and cost effective solution. The minimum order quantity is lower, and therefore suitable for smaller-scale events. SuperBadge is highly durable on its own and does not require the additional purchase of a badge holder. SuperBadge is extra sturdy and tear-resistant.

The fan-folded stacks allow for easy on-site, variable printing compatible with most direct thermal printers. Should you require onsite printing for attendee names, dates, and more, you have the control to print variable information onto your badges. You can easily personalize each badge with unique information such as attendee names, access levels, or session schedules.
